There are a number of unusual features to this section of the SHT. The section begins and ends with intimate streams, from the gentle gurgle of Wood's Creek to the deep gorges of the Kadunce River, which offer a fascinating glimpse into the region's geology. The middle part of the section takes you across a unique high, wet area with two dozen footbridges. Unusual trees on this section include red oak and black spruce. |
