Lutsen to Caribou Trail
Linking people with nature by footpath along Lake Superior's North Shore.
| Length: 6.4 |
|
This is a very pleasant and interesting segment of the SHT, with a diverse forest ranging from a mature maple canopy through mixed birch/aspen/pine and spruce to a small clear-cut. Stretches parallel the Poplar River and Lake Agnes, and there are several open vistas of the Poplar River drainage. In late summer it is a mushroom-hunters heaven in terms of variety and supply. |
