Trail Overview

The maps below only give a general idea of the trail route and are not meant to be used for hiking. The Superior Hiking Trail Association (SHTA) sells a complete set of pocket maps for the trail for $2.50. SHTA also sells “The Guide to the Superior Hiking Trail, 6th Edition” for $15.95. The Guide has complete directions to all the trailheads, maps, information about each campsite and its water source, and a mile-by-mile description of the trail.
